Twitterpated for Fall!

Since this is the week of Thanksgiving, I am sure  many of you are preparing for the upcoming holiday festivities. I personally LOVE Thanksgiving. It is such a great time to really reflect on the things we are thankful for. I find that throughout the year, I can easily get caught up in the things of life and forget all of the wonderful little things that make my life full. So as Thanksgiving day approaches, make sure to slow down and reflect on those things and those people you are thankful for. Perhaps you can even surprise someone with a handmade card from you. Silly Boy! Make-Up is for Girls!

So today I just had to share a very funny picture. My sweet little boy found my make-up bag, took it into the kitchen, and proceeded to put on mascara while watching some cartoons. I had to laugh when I saw him, and of course get my camera! Ah the life of Mommy's! Half our day is spent loving on them, and the other half is spent trying to keep them from getting into everything they can get their hands on. This little guy in particular is a handful.  He is a very resourceful little fellow.Enjoy. With a smile, Tina

My Originals Card Kits - Around the Holidays

Good Morning,

Have you ever felt like life was spinning out of control and that the tasks you had before you were piling up higher and higher and higher.....Okay, so that is a silly question. Of course we all have. Life can get so busy at times, I know because during December, I struggle to get my Christmas cards done every year. It is not that I don't want to, its just that I have 2 big birthday parties to plan and hold, Christmas Choir Concerts and plays to attend, a house to prepare, Holiday Christmas Parties to attend, and 4 boys to get from here to there and everywhere in between. Whew, December is BUSY for me. But I love it. So, when Close To My Heart came out with their card kits, I was so excited. These kits are awesome. Not only are they beautiful, fun and affordable, they allow me to be a bit creative during the holiday rush, but in record time.

I would like to show you a few cards I made from the newest kit called "Around the Holidays." This kit features the fun circle cards that are oh so popular right now, as well as our chocolate polka dot organza ribbon. The kit also comes with all the Stickease and 3-D squares necessary to add real dimension to the cards. The only thing I added was glitter and a Christmas Sentiment to the inside. Enjoy!

 

 

 

 

New Workshop - 3 Ring Binder Album

I thought you all might like to see my latest creation using Close To My Heart's new 3-Ring Binder Mini-Album. It is just one in a whole series of mini-albums that Close To My Heart has introduced. For this particular workshop, we are using the "Magic Moments" paper's to create the 18 page album. We are doing this workshop on Thursday, December 3rd so that everyone can have it as a Christmas gift to give someone they love. I have these done up as To-Go kits as well, including pictures for anyone who can't make it or who lives far away.

Oh How I Love My New Updated House

I thought all of my online friends might enjoy seeing how our remodel is coming. The second story is on over the garage, the entire upstairs is reconfigured, electrical, plumbing, insulation and drywall are about complete. Now we are on to the finishing work and then at the end of December, we can reclaim our upstairs!! It will be so nice for all the boys to finally have their own rooms (an to have my scrapbook workshop room and office back)! Enjoy the pictures~ Tina

Okay, so this is mostly my existing house, and my garage (which you can barely see in the left hand side of the picture). They are getting ready to put the addition on over my existing garage.

 

Here the addition is on, and they are piecing the house together.

And now what my new house looks like. The entire upstairs was reconfigured as well, so the entire second story will be new. We are still waiting for our garage door.

And this is my scrapbook workshop room...LOL!

I Love the new "Grace" Scrapbooking Kit!

Okay, so I have to admit.....I wasn't super crazy about this kit when it came out. The color combo in the Scrapbook Papers stumped me a bit but I got it anyway because I am always up for a challenge. So this weekend, in between working on the remodel, the pumpkin patch and football, I made some cards. I have to tell you, this was the most fun I have had making cards in a long time. I am going to keep playing and playing and playing. My next creative time with the Grace Kit will be working on some fabulous layouts with these beautiful papers. Hello~ Today I wanted to share another "Jingle" Christmas Layout I made this weekend. It will be one of the 2-page layouts made at my CHRISTMAS MEMORIES SCRAPBOOKING Workshop in November.
