Good Morning,
Here is another technique tutorial for all you Studio J fans out there. Today's Studio J tutorial features the Pemberley Kit and photo distressing. Previously, we only had distressing techniques that could be added to the papers, but now you can distress the photo itself. I love this look. Add cocoa ink directly to the edge of your photo for a very subtle, yet modern look. You can see this technique in many of the layouts featured in the CTMH Idea Book.
I think it's wonderful that you can now use it directly in Studio J. There is inspiration to be found in all of these videos. Enjoy!! Tina

So what do new Consultants receive?
Good Morning,
Today I thought it might be useful to share a photo of the current CTMH Consultant Kit, for any of you who are wondering about this opportunity.
I know there are a couple of you who have emailed me with questions. The basic kit is only $99 and includes ALL of the product you see here.
In addition to the basic kit, you can also purchase Kit Add-On's at significant savings. It's the best deal around, and on top of that, you can own your own business and get paid for doing a craft you already love. I've been doing this for almost 14 years, and love it! Don't hesitate to email me today with any questions!!
With a smile, Tina

Good Morning,
Here's a fun card featuring the all inclusive Florentine Workshop on the Go Kit. Wendy Coffman of Stamping Rules made this card using only 2 stamps from the WOTG stamp set - the Heart and the Sentiment. She then added stitching across the row of hearts to bind them together, added a splash of color with the seam binding ribbon and creme brulee flower. Simple, cute and... splendid! Thank you for sharing your talents with me Wendy!! Enjoy ~ Tina

Okay, just a few more cards to share that use up your scraps. I REALLY enjoyed the layout on this card.... can you tell?? LOL! By the way, these are 5x7 cards, so a really nice size. I've made a ton of cards in all different papers, for every occasion from this one design layout. Please, feel free to email me with any questions. With a smile, Tina

Too many scraps???
Good Morning~
I don't know about you guys but I have a TON of scraps of some very pretty papers. Now, I have a hard time just tossing these, even the small ones.... but here is a fun solution... this card is made entirely from scraps of B&TP from the Florentine Kit. Add a few pretty embellishments and some stamping and voila... a pretty card.
On this card, I used the new "Flutter Shapes" paper butterfly's and Mocha Opaque Pearls. For the butterfly, I gently sponged it in Creme Brulee and then adorned it with 3 of the smallest pearls. Oh, and the ribbon... the Color Ready Seam Binding ribbon of course, inked in Olive Twilight. If you are coming to my Ladies Night Out card class this month, you will receive both the pearls and the ribbon in your kit.
If you have any questions, feel free to email me. Enjoy!! Tina

Good Morning,
Today's card was made by my fellow CTMH Consultant Leighann Sherer. I love the simplicity of this card and the interest that the different shapes add. Using the Art Philosophy cartridge can really enhance even the simplest projects, quickly and effectively.
The sentiment is from the stamp set that comes in the complete Workshop on the Go kit for Florentine. If you aren't familiar with these, you should check them out. Close To My Heart puts together a kit, that is centered around a specific paper pack. In the WOTG kit, you receive a complete Level 2 paper pack, a "C" sized stamp set (not available in the idea book) an accessory or two, and a 6 page color technique brochure. They are wonderful and provide all you need for a complete project. Here is an example of the Florentine WOTG kit.

Good Morning~
This is a post for all of my scrapbookers out there. This is the second of 3 layouts that we will be making at this months "Ladies Night Out" class, featuring the Florentine Papers and Complements.
This is a very quick layout with clean, simple lines. You can choose to add up to 10 photos on this layout, or opt to let the pretty textured paper show through and use less. I also accented the layouts with stamps from the Family Love stamp set. Sometimes the right sentiment isn't found on a My Stickease, so stamping it does the trick. Also notice how perfectly the ribbon coordinates- I simply inked the Seam Binding ribbon with the corresponding ink pads.
Enjoy! Tina

There is always time to say "Thank You"
Good Morning
Today's card is a simple, but beautiful, Thank You card using the ribbon pattern on B&TP in the Florentine Paper Pack. I LOVE patterned paper like this because it offers so much versatility with very little effort.
On this card, I selected a part of the paper I liked, cut it to the width of the card, and cut out the scallops at the bottom. Using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, I cut out a shape for my sentiment, added some Color Ready Seam Binding ribbon sponged with garden green ink and viola~ a very pretty Thank You card. Oh.... and this is also one of the cards that can be made at the upcoming Stamp-A-Stack workshop. Hoping to see you there! Tina

May Has Arrived
Good Morning Everyone~
It's May!! I am so excited... the rainy weather here in Oregon should subside and the sunshine should come for all of the baseball games I am attending... one can only hope anyway! And, since it's May, it means Florentine is the featured kit of the month at all of my classes. I will get the month started by sharing a layout I created for my scrapbooking ladies.
This layout features the Florentine Papers, Florentine Complements and the new Seam Binding Ribbon, which I inked with Twilight and Garden Green inks. I was inspired by the layout on the back of the current CTMH idea book, and with a little tweaking, came up with this layout. Enjoy! Tina

One last look at the Stella Papers
Good morning~
April has come and gone and so as we move into May, but I thought it would be fun to look at one more card created from the Stella papers and the "Just For You" stamp set. This charming little card was made by Wendy Coffman. She did a nice job of incorporating our new Bakers Twine. In this particular card, the focal point colors are Lagoon, Sunset and Tulip and they go very well together. Prior to the Stella kit, I would not have put these colors together, but now I really love them... so cheery. So as we bid adieu to April, we also bid adieu to Stella. Next month we will play with the new Florentine kit ... but that's a post for May! Hee hee! With a smile~ Tina

Good Morning,
Today I am sharing the 3rd and finally layout I created for my Stella 6-page scrapbooking kits. This layout was inspired by a fellow CTMH consultant named Vicki Wizniuk and I tweaked it a bit here and there, adding "Tina-touches" to it. Or as my scrap group says, I "tina-fied" it, lol!
Again, I used the Stella Canvas Complements and the Mocha Opaque Adhesive Gems, along with some border stamping in Cocoa. The thing I love about this particular layout is how simple, quick and yet pretty it is. It holds four 4x6 photos- bam, bam, bam... layout completed. Okay, maybe not that quick... but close. :) With a smile, Tina

Nancy's take on the Stella papers - A Box full of 3x3 Note Cards
Good Morning Everyone,
Today's artwork sample is a cute box cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and the Stella paper, created by my good friend Nancy Reding. Nancy is another CTMH consultant that Wendy and I swap cards with, and you can see why right here. She comes up with the cutest stuff. I was thrilled to receive this cute little box from her and it holds 3x3 note cards perfectly. Enjoy! Tina
